Look at this gorgeous portrait of Marcia! She is one of those strong ladies who took on a lot on her shoulders. A real-life superwoman. She takes care of her family, pets, elderly parents and a career. However, even the strongest among us need a moment to breathe and recharge. Recognizing the importance of self-care, Marcia decided to treat herself to a personal photo shoot, to pamper herself. It was a well-deserved “ME time”. The portraits serve as a beautiful reminder of the joyful moments in life, especially during tough times.

I asked Marcia, “Have your values changed over time? What do you value now?”
Marcia, “Yes, over time my values have changed a lot. Before meeting certain people, I was naive, I trusted people more. Unfortunately certain individuals have taken advantage of my kindness, and that has taught me a lot.
Now, these values are imperative to me:
Integrity: being honest and having strong moral principles. It’s about doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
compassion: the ability to feel for others and act with kindness. Compassion builds empathy.
Respect: valuing others — their opinions, space, time, and dignity — regardless of differences, accepting the fact that others might think differently and accepting different opinions.
Responsibility: owning your actions and choices, being dependable, and contributing positively
Humility: understanding your strengths without arrogance and your flaws without shame. It keeps learning and……”
