Cranberry Studio Turns 9!

Can you believe it? 9 years already! What a journey it has been.

When I first had the vision of opening a studio in Malta, some people told me not to do it. The photography industry is constantly changing, the future always uncertain, and many photographers—especially wedding and event photographers—do well without a studio.

But for me, it was a dream to create a private, welcoming space where women could relax and enjoy a professional photo shoot with makeup and hair styling included. I wanted to offer more than just photographs—I wanted to create an experience.

Over these nine years, I’ve had the joy of photographing so many women, many of whom were stepping into a personal photo session for the very first time. The transformations I’ve witnessed have been amazing. The power of photography to change how women see themselves—and the confidence it builds—is incredible

Some of my clients have gone through real breakthroughs: finally losing weight they’d been struggling with for years after seeing themselves in a new light, gaining confidence and courage like never before or finding the courage to confront past trauma or current relationship issues etc. These life changes don’t happen overnight, but the spark often begins with a single portrait session.

My hope has always been that whenever my clients feel low or undervalued, they can look at their portraits, remember the joy of the photo shoot, and remind themselves: “I am enough. I am remarkable. I deserve better.” That’s the magic of a photo shoot—it can last a lifetime.
