Q:How did you Mark 40? And how did that feel?
Janine:Well, it feels great. Turning 40 is something I’ve had working for a long time since my youth. It’s like, you worked here to my youth come up with something nice. And then all of a sudden, I’m bloomed into my 40s.
Q:How has your relationship to time change as you have gotten older, has it sped up, has it slow down. When did it move the fastest for you?
Janine: I always have a fight with time. Time was never enough ever for me. But I don’t consider time as age, I consider it as maturity, or the experiences the adventures have passed through the troubles or the happiness. So time for me, has always remains the same. I tried to utilize everything is second of the time that I have in my life. I’ve put projects in it. I’ve met people and I’ve been around the world. So time for me is a treasure.
Q:what was your career or job path?
Janine:Well, I’ve always been in banking, 31 years in banking, started as a student, I continues as a junior, and today I’ve reached a very good position, which I really love in my job because I train people because I have principles of work. And I work within projects. So having done so much within the banking career, it’s something fruitful, not only for me, but also for those around me.
Q:What is the one piece of advice you would give into your 20 something self?
Janine: Work hard to reach the 40s because the 20s have the beauty, but reaching building up to your 40s is something extremely enchanting.
Q:If you had the bucket list, what’s your favorite thing you have checked off?
Janine:Landing in Iceland. I’ve always wanted to go to Iceland. I love ice and because of this volcanic power, I love it because it’s close to Greenland and all the beautiful things there. And when I landed it there, it was the peak of something beautiful.

Q:What gets you up in the morning and what are your motivations?
Janine:Love for life wakes me up in the morning. I wake up smiling. Thank you God, I’m live right? So the day I’m powerful I can manage. Today for me is a gift, an immense gift. I try to put everything in it with love.
Q:It will be really interesting to hear about any ambitions you have for the future.
Janine:I would love to do a lot. I would love to go on an adventure trip along one extreme long one. And I would love to see myself in a better position not on the work side I’m not into money, but in a better position, how to tackle life. Big going into my 50s I have a strong ambition that I will do well that I will be a good example to other people that I can help other people in so many ways. So my ambition towards another decade.
Q:How do you think your generation is perceived by other generations?
Janine:Well, I’ve learned from the generations before me, I can also learn from the generations that are coming towards me. So having that we might have a better or a neutral perspective to other generations. But the ones that have taught me I value, the knowledge, the experiences, those that are coming towards me. I invite them to see me.
Q:Are there any myths you would like to bust about the over 40s? If so, can you tell us about that?
Janine:There is a myth which says life lost at 40 or life begins at 40. I say life is a continuous voyage. Whether you 20 30 40 50 60 it’s your part. You’re always going up the ladder. It has a platform you’re working on it, then you’re building the other one. Your Mark, your aim is always to climb on the other platform. You reach it. Yes, I’ve done it. I need the other one.
Q:Do you think that people who are over 40s are represented in advertising? How do you feel about it?
Janine: However advertising does not picture the good that you have achieved throughout your experiences of why your body changed. Advertising likes to have everything perfect. I have to admit I don’t have the perfect body, but I have the perfect mind I have the perfect life. So I don’t really go into advertising I don’t really mind what they advertise because what is important to me is either the product or myself.
